C'mon. Let me have my fun."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Your scenarios are plausible, I'm not sure if they were in, say, 2004 given the electoral map numbers back then.Originally posted by Pelado View PostC'mon. Let me have my fun.
Realistically, this is going to end up at around 290 on either side. If the summer is bad, like it's been the past couple years, then if Romney wins we'll have a repeat of the 2004 map (along with New Hampshire and minus New Mexico), which would mean 289 electoral votes.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Here you go - Obama takes Colorado and NM, Romney picks off Ohio and Nevada. Still going to the House of Representatives:Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostThe scenario hinges on Romney winning Colorado or New Mexico without winning Ohio. I think Ohio is going to be easier than either Colorado or New Mexico. Romney is going to have trouble with Hispanics in New Mexico and he doesn't have the mormon base like he does in Nevada to bail him out. IMO, if Romney does indeed win Colorado, he'll win Ohio also.

This seems like the most realistic tie map to me
http://www.270towin.com/2012_electio....php?mapid=iVh
It would be very similar to the results in 2000. The only difference would be Colorado, Iowa and Virginia.

That works, but it doesn't fit within CMBF's paradigm which gives Virginia to Romney.Originally posted by beefytee View PostThis seems like the most realistic tie map to me
