The nurse has the hospital supervisor on speaker-phone and has the written policy in her hand. The nurse reads the conditions under which blood may be drawn according to the policy, which the SLCPD had agreed to previously, and the hospital supervisor asks the cop over speakerphone why he's blaming the nurse, who is just the messenger. The cop then asserts his authority with physical force.Comment

The guy was working his second job as a truck driver and was involved in an accident caused by a car fleeing the Utah state police. The SLCPD wanted to collect a blood sample from the truck driver/cop to prove he wasn't driving under the influence. I agree. This was pretty much the exact opposite of what the officer did with Francis Bernard. Yet many were quite critical of how he handled the situation.
