Something has to give here.

If seeming nervous after being pulled over by a cop leads to "reasonable suspicion," which leads to "probable cause," and a legal search despite the Fourth Amendment, we can't have cops pointing loaded guns at citizens during traffic stops for 9 minutes and expecting those citizens to be "calm."

Courts have carved out too many exceptions where cops can be intimidating, even threatening, and cops are taught to treat you as though you don't have rights until you strongly assert them, and even then the cop can lie to you.

Actually, I was being sarcastic. It shouldn't matter what the length of time was. The officer had no way of knowing it would take 9 minutes for back-up to arrive. No one was hurt, the passenger is a coward. He apologized to the police officer at the time and then whines about him online.

Edit: Go read about the murder of Deputy Kyle Dinkheller. This happened when I was going through the academy back in the day. I'm pretty sure EVERY officer sees this video in their training, including the officer in the 9 minute police stop.

Agree about the time. If the cop had a basis to use his revolver then It doesn't matter how long the backup takes to arrive.

Does the video show the skin color of the unconscious patient? I need to know this before I decide who was right and who was wrong in this standoff.
