Latest Seattle CHOP shooting sees one dead, another in critical condition
One dead, another in critical condition after latest shooting in Seattle's Capitol Hill Organized

One man has died and another remains hospitalized in critical condition Monday following the latest shooting near Seattle's Capitol Hill Organized Protest, or CHOP.

Two males suffering gunshot wounds arrived at Harborview Medical Center’s Emergency Department.

The shooting victim who arrived at the hospital at 3:30 a.m. from the CHOP area on Capitol Hill in Seattle has unfortunately died, Susan Gregg, a hospital spokeswoman, told Fox News. He was transported to the hospital via Seattle Fire Department medics.

The other male arrived at about 3:15 a.m. by private vehicle. He remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Given there are only like 12 people living in CHOP now it has to be the most dangerous country in the world.

No bricks/rocks through windows, buildings burnt to the ground, statues of leaders pulled over, taking over the city and establishment of POP? What a weak sauce peaceful protest. The Provo Antifa kids need to step up their game. Sad.

I delivered pizza in Provo from 1997-2002, full time. For a public speaking class talk, I reckoned that I delivered around 4k to 5k pizzas per year, every year. That'd put me in the neighborhood of 10k-12k deliveries over time. I used to know every apartment complex and street (meaning the houses) inside the 1000 block, and most of the apartments outside that. I had Branbury memorized (no two buildings had the same numbering system), no small feat.

I felt so safe in Provo that I never once turned my car off while making a delivery. I'd leave the windows down, keys in the ignition, car running, everywhere I went. The only place that ever gave me a hard time was the State Hospital. I went there once and I came back to my car and it was locked, windows up, keys gone. Some rent-a-cop thought it was left for someone to escape in, despite being festooned with Pizza Hut lights. I don't believe that Provo was safe solely due to the police, but largely due to the high moral makeup of the populace. There was one murder in the five years I lived there, at some dance club down on Center St. Neither the victim nor the murderer were from Utah County (if I recall correctly).

It really is a wonderful place to live in that I would never want to live in again. Too many people in too small an area. And, you have to pray for rain.

Time to send in the national guard to show these kids how to shoot.

Time to send in the national guard to show these kids how to shoot.
                    From the local paper:

Several protesters began approaching the vehicle as it was attempting to force its way through and a male protester ran up to the SUV on the passenger side, pointed a handgun at the driver, and shot one round through the window, striking the driver.

The driver accelerated southbound onto University in an attempt to get to safety, Geyerman said.

The male protester who is seen shooting into the vehicle ran after the white SUV and shot a second round through the rear passenger window. Video footage then shows the protester concealing the firearm and continuing to protest.

Reports indicate that same male protester later approached another vehicle at 500 N. and University Avenue, striking and breaking the window with the same handgun, Geyerman said.

Throughout the night, further video shows cars continued to drive through the protesters as demonstrators began to jump on cars and hit their windows.
So we protest police violence with gun violence? Idiots.

Yeah, I am guessing that fox news will be all over this one... It is making its way all over social media now.

This may give Drumpf the public backing to call out the national guard. Bad move, Antifa kids. Bad move.

Yeah, most likely a 33 year old UofU student still trying to get his undergrad.

Tuesday night, King confirmed two people had been arrested in connection with the shooting. Jesse Taggert, 33, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for investigation of attempted aggravated murder, King said. He also faces allegations of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, rioting, threatening use of a weapon in a fight, criminal mischief and firing a weapon near a highway.
I am sure they can find a few more things to charge him with.
