Gingrich is unreal. I can't believe a guy promoting a moon colony and future statehood for said moon colony is taken seriously as a presidential candidate by anyone.

And did you hear the Robocall from Newt? Romney's "religous hypocrisy". Freudian projection?

To think Ron Paul is generally considered the crazy candidate.

I.e., that more than half of Santorum's supporters would go to Romney? That's interesting. I assume that is based in large part on Romney's growing lead in Florida? Have similar polls been conducted prior to Romney's latest surge?

Not really. There was no way to make it of consequence anyways.

It is a state that is not going to influence the race, because it will definitely go for Romney. It would have, even with Huntsman in the race.

The legislator was smart to not allocate funds for it. Moving it up and throwing money at it wouldn't benefit the state any.

                Some questions I've had recently:

                1) Newt has proven that he's a spoiled brat crybaby, so will he be so pissed about losing the nomination that he'll try to nuke Mitt out of spite, even though it will help Obama, and

                2) If Newt goes nuclear, has he been so completely idiotic that his rantings will have no effect?

I believe the answers are yes and yes.
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

I was wondering the same today about California. The primary isn't until June 5, and is in the group of last ones before Utah. The race should be decided by then. Just seems interesting that a state with so many delegates essentially is out of the process.

It is amusing to watch Erick Erickson try to play the CNN pundit on one hand, and try to nudge people away from Romney atnRedstate on the other. Usually with impeccable logic and reason, too.

I thought it was really classy for Michelle Obama to say it was beautiful, even though it obviously wasn't.
