So it sounds like, in spite of all the great videos his campaign produced, that Murphy still lost to Walz in 2022."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Hilarious. Murphy is all "here, I'll share what I got and more to come" when he lost to Walz.Originally posted by Pelado View Post

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Vibes over policy seems to be how we got in this position in the first place. Positive vibes and bad policy isn't something to celebrate. His record as governor of MN does not instill confidence that he will be a positive check on Harris's destructive progressive instincts.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostCuban weighs in with an interesting point. The contrast between hope/positivity/humor is pretty stark. I remember way back when Clinton ran for the first time. The Repub convention was all about the dangers out there in America (gay people, abortion, welfare queens, crime, etc.) and the Dem convention was about hope and how America could be better moving forward. The killer was the final night of the convention after Cinton accepted the nomination. They brought the families up and I believe they were blasting Fleetwood Mac, and much younger HIllary and Tipper Gore were dancing and swinging each other to the music. It looked fun and a stark contrast to the glum nature of the Repubs.

That his congressional record… he didn’t become a crazy liberal lunatic until he became a governor. He fact he was a NRA fanboy but now wants to take my guns away.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Heh. It's always fun when the other party's VP candidate appears to be supporting you.

At the risk of UT-level spamming, here's article in which the VP candidate self-describes himself as a GIS nerd. That ought to get him some votes from here. The article even goes into some depth as to how his knowledge of geography, maps, and GIS play a role in his governing.

Dude is wigging out.
Anyway, I would say no chance, but it would be quite a recovery for a slobbering old fool who doesn't know where he is to organize a protest at the Dem convention to take back the nomination.
