Actually, that is a huge deal. If Schiff is for him stepping down it’s just a matter of time before other big names come forward. The snowball is finally picking up steam. Expect Kamala to be the nominee since I doubt anyone else wants it as they all probably want to run in 2028 without the stench of losing in 2024.

                  • Shooter used encrypted comms but apparently only talked to who? Himself?

And he apparently did a better pre-event site risk assessment than the USSS.

                      • The Dems are demanding to see Trump's medical records... They don't believe he was shot in the ear now.

MSNBC analyst Michael Steele was accused of pushing "conspiracy theories" on Tuesday night when he questioned if former President Trump’s ear was actually hit by a high-caliber bullet.

Trump walked away from an assassination attempt on Saturday during a Pennsylvania rally, getting grazed in the ear by a bullet that came inches from killing him. Trump sported a bandage on his ear at the Republican National Convention on Monday.

"Let’s start with last night and the Band-Aid …. It’s been three days, going on four, since this horrific event occurred. A person lost their life, two have been severely injured, and yet we’ve not received a medical report from the hospital, nor have we received a medical report from the campaign, or from the Trump organization about the extent of the damage to his ear," Steele said during MSNBC’s coverage of the RNC.

"If he was shot by a high-caliber bullet, there should probably be very little ear there," he continued. "And so, we’d like to know that. Is there cosmetic surgery involved? What is the prognosis for recovery? Were there stitches? What is the extent and nature of the damage to his ear? Was it caused by a bullet, as opposed to, as some reports … saying it was actually shards of glass from the teleprompter?"
                        Let's see that ear!

Oh, but it was. I think going back and looking at past threads from 2020 election are worth it. It was fairly obvious that something was being staged prior to J6. Even rational Mike Lindell had a last minute meeting with Donald where he proposed Marshall law.

Endured a lot of mockery for worrying about Trump trying to topple the results. He held back national guard support while the capitol was attacked by rioters (not sightseers like Tucker Carlson and MTG would lead you to believe). They paraded the Confederate flag around and smeared shit on the walls and killed cops. I know you are understand it, but I'm just reminding us of how awful he truly is.

I don't see any other Democrat winning, and I'm mad enough at Biden for running again that I want to hang the L on him. I will probably mutter a curse at him while I am voting for him.
As a counterpoint, and because I like to quote my own posts, if Harris becomes the nominee and we could get her out of the 2028 race I guess that’s at least a small w

                            • Dems I would consider casting a vote for Prez (it would be the first time in my life that I voted D for Prez):

                              - Josh Shapiro - probably
                              - Dean Phillips - probably
                              - Jared Polis - maybe - he has some libertarian-ish positions that I like, but also some other libertarian-ish positions I hate.
                              - Gretchen Whitmer - a very hesitant "maybe" for me at this point. I fear she may be too progressive for me - like a Newsom-ish wolf in Midwestern sheep's clothing.

I'm Never Newsom and Never Harris (I'm also Never Trump as well). I'm a flat no on Pritzker as well - has too much Chicago-style Dem political machine in him for my taste.

Way to bring him back down to earth, frank. We can't allow people to find reasons for hope.
