          • I always get pushback here, but I have said all along that democrats and republicans are pretty much the same. Now we have a democratic president/candidate who ignored all logic, reason, advice, poll numbers, etc and is running for re-election purely out of ego (sound familiar?). His family is corrupt and they have way too much influence on his decision-making. And democrats know that it is vital for the future of the party to have him step down, but only a tiny minority of them have the guts to tell the truth, while the rest of them keep their mouths shut so that they can maintain access to power. And now we see rank and file democrats pushing the same kind of dumb conspiracy theories that we get from MAGA.

None of this should be surprising. You should never assume that your political rival party is a fundamentally different or inferior kind of people. We are all human.

Tell me about this with some examples, particularly of the Democrats supporting Antifa. Because this is not a both-sides-are-the-same-thing when it comes to rhetoric. There are no liberal counterparts to Alex Jones, in terms that have legitimacy, influence, and reach an audience.

I don't BLM is much of a thing anymore. I don't think of any of their leaders or influencers. Same with Antifa. I can think of that harder left group in congress when it comes to the Palestinian stuff. I can also think of left wing voices that have associated themselves with that cause, and are trying to influence politics by pushing against Biden.

But no counterparts to Alex Jones, Matt Walsh, Charlie Kirk, etc

                • Looks like it’s JD Vance. He’s a twerp but it probably didn’t really matter who Trump picked. Nobody voting for his VP.

Barf, but no surprise. I was hoping for the dakota governor.

No push back from me... I have been saying this for a long time.

The best thing that could happen now is both Dems and GOP'ers drop the rhetoric and debate the issues. Of course, the folks here will say it is all coming from the Trump side like their they are deaf in their left ears (so I'll include some samples below). Also, the government needs to become completely transparent and impartial to the investigation of this assassination attempt and why there was a huge USSS failure in security.
