You can't have it both ways. JD Vance started in the same kind of place and through brains and hard work ended up at Yale. That fact alone doesn't make him a bad person. It was a ridiculous thing to say.

Yeah, I think Trump embellishes way too much and likes to hear himself talk. I really like JD Vance, however, even if he went to Yale instead of Chadron State or Minnesota State University in Mankato (where ever that is).

Is the criticism something more than the 3-second clip where he says none of his 24 classmates went to Yale? I don't see him criticizing some kid for working hard in that clip. I think the point is that JD Vance isn't really a man of the people, he's an ivy-league, ivory tower, make-up wearing d-bag that says whatever he needs to get what he wants.

I know Vivek gets a lot of flak on this board, but I really appreciated this interaction with Van Jones. I appreciate his efforts, albeit imperfect, to try and create dialogue around difficult issues.

That was really good, I agree. And I think it was so good because they were both very sincere. A sincere and thoughtful Vivek is a much more dangerous figure than the one who proposed getting rid of birthright citizenship.

You need to become a better student of my posts… the Dems have been using lawfare to try get their opponents to leave the race. They waited until the election year to do it with trump with drummed up charges. They got him out of the Dem primary just like they did with Bernie in 2016. The sued and got him off the NY ballot (and others) by claiming he wasn’t a resident which is bogus. Now the are doing the same with the Green Party who has played by the rules. The Dems are evil and clearly don’t want people to have choices. They despise democracy.
