I'll put in the request to the seating chairman, but I think the black guy is a tenor or baritone.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostStand by the black guy and you'll get plenty of air time.“Every player dreams of being a Yankee, and if they don’t it’s because they never got the chance.” Aroldis Chapman

Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

While reading through some old conference talks, I found it interesting that the slippery slope argument was being used all the way back in 1881: http://jod.mrm.org/22/169
I wonder if Pres Woodruff would be shocked to find out that even though we gave up polygamy, we are still allowed to believe in prophets, apostles and revelation. But no, my friends, I will tell you: If we were to give up polygamy today—if we were to say to our government, “Oh, yes, we will give up polygamy”—why the next they would say would be, But look here; you have got to give up something more than that.” They would tell us, as the Missourians did, that we must quit believing in prophets, apostles and revelation. The same feeling exists today as existed then."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
