Ryan is also terrific and I have had a fantastic time with him in the Temple Square Chorale.

And Devin Durrant spoke in April, 1984 priesthood session:

Brethren, I’m honored to stand before you tonight. First, I would like to talk about a much-discussed topic in the Church—referees.

I know Elder Nelson has talked about surgeries several times in the past, but I was surprised that he has apparently never used the word "transplant". He definitely needs a lesson from the Silver Fox in talking about the careers of men mingled with scripture.

No kidding. I might like his talks better if he peppered them with more valve replacement science.

Sorry, this is really embarrassing. When supposed Prophets and Apostles are supposedly speaking directly for God, relaying his messages, and making divine pronouncements? The most NO ONE SAW COMING moments in the history of general conferences are Bednar and Perry fist bumping and Monson wiggling his ears. Thanks LDS Living for putting this embarrassing fact front and center.

The primary presidency will be replaced...by three new women.

Mitt Romney will be called as an area authority assigned to help with the construction project in Philly.

The minute the first speaker in the priesthood session says: "Tonight I wish to address the Aaronic Priesthood," I will switch over to the final four.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

That looks like a really long church homework assignment. No thanks!

I think my sister graduated with Ryan and Jen (?) as well. She sang for Mac and for Stahli (sp?). She was in the MoTab for a while a few years back.

Based on her stories, it sounds like being in the choir is a blast for those who are into that sort of thing. I hope you have a great experience.

Then I was likely with her. I was in Singers my last two years with Staheli.

It pains me that I am no longer eligible for MoTab membership due to age. It's not that I ever wanted to be in the choir (to date my only solo performance has been, appropriately enough, The Monotone Angel). It's just that as the camera slowly pans the choir members, it's depressing to note that every single one of them is younger than I.
