I did have to trim back to the mustache in order to participate. My understanding is the cardboard heads are frowned upon. When I sang with the BYU Choirs in conferences past I was able to wear a very bright tie to stand out. I got nothing now since ties are matching.“Every player dreams of being a Yankee, and if they don’t it’s because they never got the chance.” Aroldis Chapman

YOU GOT THE STACHE!!!! Nothing says look at me (or the 1970's) like a good mustache! When I sang with the BYU Choirs in conferences past I was able to wear a very bright tie to stand out. I got nothing now since ties are matching.

Wiggle your ears, if you can. I'll be watching for you, Copelius.Originally posted by Copelius View PostI did have to trim back to the mustache in order to participate. I'll take what I can get. I got to sing in the loft yesterday for the first conference rehearsal (I have been in the basement for choir school since January) and it was a great experience. Faster pace than any other choir with which I have ever sung. I sang with Mack at BYU and he is still an amazing conductor. Ryan is also terrific and I have had a fantastic time with him in the Temple Square Chorale.Originally posted by Sullyute View PostYOU GOT THE STACHE!!!! I can wiggle them but I have never tried while singing. It may be like patting your head while rubbing your belly.Originally posted by Harry Tic View PostWiggle your ears, if you can. General Conference trivia:
Without looking at the database, who can guess in what year was the first mention of a transplant surgery in GC? Who delivered the talk?
First three types of transplant surgeries referenced?
Total number of talks referencing transplant surgeries?
Number of talks by Russell M. Nelson referencing heart transplants?"I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

I suppose Hinkley had more pride than Benson.President Hinckley got up during the 1989 April Conference and gave President Benson's powerful rebuke against pride. President Hinckley opened the talk saying that President Benson felt more comfortable with someone else delivering the address than himself."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. I love this place for the comments. Makes me wonder if the whole site is a giant and brilliant troll. The directed anger about the insensitivity of including the Hunter tip-over footage!Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostLDS Church....oh, no you di'int!
