Until the Church comes up with a "WHY" for the intersexed, there will be no answers for the homosexual/bisexual/rest of the acronexual membership, as I've been writing about for more than a decade: https://www.cougarstadium.com/forum/...-homosexuality

There's a great podcast on Spotify about Trevor Milton, the founder and CEO of electric truck startup Nikola from St. George. This guy is unreal in his ability to lie, cheat, and manipulate.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I’m not sure that changes SUs conclusion.Originally posted by Copelius View PostI remember seeing a few positive stories at one point."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Looks like the church did things right in this case...at least with the most recent church-related allegations.
I am friends with the reporter, and I’ve known the stake president my entire life (his son does my taxes). It sucks that dudes like this are seemingly everywhere.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

Disgusting and, if the allegations are true, frustrating that he's avoided prosecution.Originally posted by Green Monstah View Posthttps://www.12news.com/amp/article/n...a-b29f584d43c0

Absolutely disgusting to encourage someone to enter into a mixed orientation marriage. Honestly, that is worse than advocating for denying the right for LGBTQ people to marry.Originally posted by Maximus View Postchurch leaders tried to convince archuleta hed feel alright if he just married

From the stupidly rebranded Mormonsandgays.lds.org website (now https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/topics/gay)
"We don’t counsel people that heterosexual marriage is a panacea. You’ll see in some of these experiences that are related on this site that it has been a successful experience in a few cases, or some have expressed the success they have found in marriage and in raising a family, and in the joy and all that has filled out and blessed their lives as a consequence. But that we know is not always true. And it’s not always successful. Sometimes it’s been even disastrous. We think it’s something that a person can evaluate, and they can discuss, and both with priesthood leaders and family and others, and make decisions. But we simply don’t take a uniform position on saying, ‘Yes, always,’ or ‘No, always.’” —Elder D. Todd Christofferson
I thought something to the effect of "don't counsel the SSA member to enter into a heterosexual marriage as a way to cure teh gay" was in the General Handbook at one time, but I'm not finding it in it's current iteration.

This is absolutely infuriating to read. Sometimes it ends disastrous? Make that on occasion it doesn't end disastrous.Originally posted by LVAllen View PostFrom the stupidly rebranded Mormonsandgays.lds.org website (now https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/topics/gay)

It is unfair to both partners to be in a marriage without desire. Mixed orientation marriages are almost never a good idea.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression
