I hope you are right. GBH, in hindsight, was one of the most horrible people I've ever looked up to, and I hate him more than any of the traditionally vilified church leaders (JFieldingS, HBL, ETB, BRM, etc.). I realize that is a strong statement and that others will disagree with me strongly, but in my opinion he was a lying shyster con man with a glib tongue and media awareness.

Don't like this trend of singing songs at half-tempo. We have heard Love at Home and There is Sunshine In My Soul slowed WAY down.

"Hey I know what would make this song awesome. Let's sing it really, really slowly."

I sometimes fall asleep during GC. I had a bad dream, that someone really smart called President Hinckley one of the most horrible people he once admired. That makes me sad in so many levels.

Not that anyone cares, but I like Conference it makes me want to be a better person. Especially, talks like Elder Hollands, and President Uchtdorf's.

A guy in my ward is in MoTab. He hates singing hymns slow as much as Phipps..., never mind.

Anyways, any time he is asked to lead music in church, we sing almost double-time. The organist can barely keep up. I love it, I hate it when hymns sound like dirges.

It was only a dream. Nobody really smart would say something like that. The guy is a tool and crossed some major lines with that one.
