Again, I support and defend the right of people to vote against gay marriage and give money to fight gay marriage. You're making some bizarre leap in logic here with your assertion that I am somehow against democracy.

So, the leap that was made by SU and DDD when they stated that I am a homophobe because I think your ridicule is stupid is not absurd ... ? I guess it's less absurd than my absurdity ... by how much?

I was thinking more about biracial marriage no longer being an issue. I think the relationship between biracial and homosexual marriage is an easier assumption than homosexual marriage and abortion. Am I wrong?

As far as agreeing or disagreeing, I knew I would disagree the moment I saw the editorial was written by Frank Rich. He has about as much credibility with me as Keith Obermann.

For me absurdity is a good thing. Seriously, think about it. I'm having a conversation with the virtual manifestations of people who may or may not be real on a device called a computer that accesses a technology that has been around since the 1950's but only recently (relatively) has proliferated to the extent that every person on the planet with access to said computer can also use.

Those Bishops who were commanding members of their congregations to slash the tires of all vehicles with a rainbow stickers were the ones that really pissed me off. This really happened. I don't have any evidence to support it and I realize it simply sounds as if I'm making stuff up, but I know.

Alright, I have no evidence that I'll make public out of respect for those who gave it to me. My own bishop and stake presidency are hinting at withholding recommends over not doing your hometeaching, let alone for not participating in the single-most-important-issue-that-we-have-ever-seen-as-a-nation.
