I don't think you are supposed to add any questions to the interview that are not on the list. Reading Scriptures, Praying, home teaching is not on question so don't think you are supposed to ask those questions.

Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostSo, I spent an hour with my bishop today for my temple recommend. I laid it all out there for him, my doubts, my skepticism, my grumbling and dissension, how I wake up sometimes in the middle of the night and think "this is all there is....why? Why is there anything instead of nothing? Why would we be at all if there weren't something higher to it all?" We both shared our feelings on things, and he came back to me and said that he thinks that I'm one of the more caring people he knows in the Church because I want to make sure that the right thing is always done. He says that he thinks I'm more like other people than I realize, only that I'm more honest--and vocal--about how I feel than others typically are. He also says that he has no reservations about giving me a temple recommend as long as I do not. So, I have one again.

Coincidentally, I also had a TR interview today. It's been awhile. After I got the "yard work" instructions, I instructed my leader (B2C) to run "V-neck garment top" up the food chain. It might take a few months, but YWIA!You're actually pretty funny when you aren't being a complete a-hole....so basically like 5% of the time. --Art Vandelay

I've heard that if you think it's funny, you'll have to listen to David Letterman laugh throughout the eternities.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostI think if you don't laugh at Cabin Boy you can't get into CK1, in this or any other dimension."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. I noticed my tracks and the sandals that walked next to them both disappeared.
The lonely tracks were wingtips and that ugly cackle became both sweet and fine.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
