Which Blazers? Hopefully not Ruben Patterson or Darius Miles.

    • Missed Sacrament meeting, so I can't report on any of that. Not a mention during Sunday school, since I was the one teaching those ambivalent 12 year olds. I was then supposed to teach the Teacher's but we got called in to join with the Priests. 3/4 of the class was going over snippets from the Mormon Newsroom response. When the Bishop asked for some response on their interactions at school, one of the Priests related a story about a time when a gay kid wanted to talk to him, and so this kid responded "hey man, I'm not going to hate on you or judge you or anything like that. You do you and I'll do me." I wanted to interject that the church actually doesn't support that either.
I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

No mention in my ward either.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Last speaker may have been a bit rasttled, though. He's English, and today the choir sang "The Star Spangled Banner", and as was walking off the stand, and he was walking over the the mic, I whispered in his ear "When we were singing about the foe's haughty host, I was thinking about you."
It's "My Country 'Tis of Thee" that is the real slap in the face to those Brits.

                • For some reason during the past week the SP declared today F&T meeting. No mentions during the parts I was paying attention too.

                  • Perhaps they moved Fast Sunday to today because next Sunday is Stake Conference?...

Not one word in my conservative South Jordan, Utah, ward and that included the biggest bible-thumper in the ward substituting as Gospel Doctrine teacher.

                    • Enough of this anecdotal evidence. Can pellegrino please update us on what's really going on in Mormonism with regard to this issue?

                        • No mention in my ward. We did discuss women and the priesthood during EQ, though. The teacher did a terrible job.
                          Not that, sickos.

                          • No mention in my ward. Had a few side conversations. I said to one guy who has been particularly vocal on FB (saying we live in the United States of Sodom and Gomorrah (USSG) )"rough week for you, eh?"

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
