Per the CHOI, there is an instance when an Aaronic Priesthood holder can pronounce a blessing through the laying on of hands.
"I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Is an ordination and a blessing the same thing? you arent pronouncing any blessings during an ordination, or at least none are required.

Didn't Mary Fielding teach us that a blessing can be given willy nilly? And don't ordinations have to be done by assignment of the Key Holder?

Per the CHOI, the fifth step in performing a priesthood ordination: "Gives words of blessing as the Spirit directs" (20.7.1).

Since a priest can ordain others to offices within the Aaronic Priesthood, a priest can (but is not required to) pronounce a blessing through the laying on of hands - but only as the Spirit directs, the same standard as for MP-only ordinances like sealing an anointing or a father's blessing.

You'd probably already know these things if not for your ward's abbreviated services.

What is there to probably know? It seems like you simply reinforced what I said above; namely, that A blessing can be but is not required to be part of an ordination.

Therefore it would seem that an ordination is not a blessing. So you didn't really learn that in church after all.

Per the CHOI, an ordination is not a blessing in the same way that the following ordinances are not blessings:

Naming and blessing a child (20.2.2)
                      Confirmation (20.3.10)
                      Sealing the annointing (20.6.3)
Father's blessings and other blessings of comfort and counsel (20.8)
Setting apart officers and teachers (19.4)
                      Setting apart bishops (19.6)

The church will not accept donations from Intel.

I am guessing this has to do with Intel no longer donating to the BSA over the gay leader thing. Of course, I am sure Intel's policy for the BSA also applies for the church (i.e. no donations to anti-gay organizations). Therefore, the church may not be out any money here.

Would they be out any money anyway? As in, if the LDS church were not an anti-gay organization, would Intel ever donate money to it? Serious question. The church bought their Riverton office building from Intel.

I assume the Church has also removed all Intel processors from Church-owned computer equipment?

What does that even mean? Under what context does Intel ever donate to the LDS church?
