    Spoiler for Spoiler:
Really, this guy's pent-up artistic genius spills out via . . . a traditional cuban sandwich? Delicious, yes, but arguably the simplest food truck item out there. And the critic who tore into him for his boring country club menu is completely blown away by his traditional Cuban offerings? Ok.

Also, I have nothing against f-bombs and R-ratings, but when a f-bomb laced tirade is the only reason for the R-rating, that's just weak. I'm betting Favreau had some sweet sex scenes written into the script but once Favreau showed up back at his Rudy weight plus 20, neither ScarJo or Sophia Vergara was willing to go there.
    Spoiler for Spoiler:
So - are you sure you aren't giving the plot of that Pixar/Disney movie with the critic who tears into the restaurant and then is blown away by the simple country meal the rodent fixes for him?

    • Godzilla. fell asleep.

XMen. Never really followed this movie series and know next to nothing about backstories (front stories?) and other histories. Thought it was pretty good though and it intriqued me for about 10 seconds. Here's a list of questions I had, given my ignorance:

      1. Hey, I thought his claws were metal. Why are they bone?
      2. Who's the chick with the red hair, and why is everyone in the theater surprised to see her at the end?
      3. So what's the difference between Trask Industries (Evil) and Stark Industries (Good) again?
      4. Raven... Mystique. Raven... Mystique. When does her name change?
      5. Isnt Beast just a really lame ripoff of The Hulk?
      6. Young Magneto is really douchey. (Sorry, this is a statement).
      7. Liked the speedy guy, and that slo mo scene to Time in a Bottle was the best. Why didn't they use him at the Paris Peace Accords again?
      8. So they build the murderous robots to rid the world of mutants. Now who rids the world of the murderous robots?
      9. At the very end of the movie, after you sit through 20 minutes of credits: Who's the minecraft fellow - is he alien or terrestrial?

He already had the mutant healing powers and the claws before his skeleton was artificially infused with adamantium. Whatever you watched probably pre-dated that infusion... unless he somehow had the adamantium removed later-- lots of things happen in the funnies to advance a story.

        • Short Term 12. Outstanding.

I think I liked it 10x more than the X-Men flick. And I only mention that because:

          Production Budgets
          Short Term 12: $1M
          X-Men: $200M+

Agreed. So many authentic human moments in that one.

                  Lol.

Crude and sophomoric...I laughed quite a bit.

Sara Silverman kind of steals every scene she is in.

                  • Non-stop - Actually kind of funny but incredibly lame at the same time. I think Neeson has basically created his own niche genre of mindless thrillers.

Godzilla - Loved it although there were some slower parts. Very well done film with a very satisfying ending
                    Spoiler for ending:
I was sincerely hoping that at the very end when Godzilla is walking back out to sea that on his way out he would just reach over and push one more building down just for fun.

                          • I saw Edge of Tomorrow last night. I saw plain old non-3D, non-IMAX.

I hadn't seen any previews or read anything about it beforehand, so I had no expectations. I was entertained. 4/5 stars.

                              • I saw "A Million Ways to Die in the West"-- it's not faring too well in the Tomatometer, but I thought it was really funny. Seth MacFarlane in a starring role was interesting. The annoying part of this movie that bogs it down some is, while there's no nudity, it adds some pretty dirty humor that isn't as funny as the non-dirty humor, somehow. I guess I'm one that thinks if you're going to add prurient elements, it should only be what's necessary to most effectively advance the story or else there had better be a premium comedic payoff. Having said that, there are some really golden comedic parts. Seth is a comedy virtuoso.
