Thanks for the reviews on Superman everyone. I don't think I will even bother when it comes to DVD.

It seems to be one of those love it or hate it movies. And from people I know and trust it's evenly split. That makes me want to see it more actually. I wonder if it is just Zach Snyder rubbing people wrong. I think I am the only person in the world who liked Sucker Punch.

I have never liked superman anyway.

I don't know that I'll go that far but it was meh. A week later that's the conclusion I've come to.

All-American had a great post once about why Superman as a hero is problematic. I still dig Superman though and Smallville is one of my favorite TV series ever. I really enjoyed how they showed Clark coming into his own. I also liked Lana and Lois.

I Loved sucker punch. I also was entertained by man of steel. A little bummed they didn't forecast lex luthor like they forecasted the joker in batman begins.

Captain, my 8 year old, LOVES ET. We watch it at least once a week. It is awful.

As with many Steven Spielburg movies, ET does not age well. I say this as a huge fan of Minority Report.

I really enjoyed World War Z up until the very end. Then it turned into a Green Peace commercial. That was the final re-write? What a waste. It almost ruined the rest of the movie for me.

I read that they left it open ended that way to pave the way for the inevitable sequel. I read they filmed a lot of footage in Russia that they didn't even use.

For a minute I thought you were talking about "Snatch", and I didn't really understand the "tell on everyone else" part. Snatch is my favorite Brad Pitt movie. I don't have a favorite Dwayne Johnson movie (well, I did like him in Be Cool).
