    One of those Grantland commentaries mentioned that the whole show was to have taken place in roughly a year's time, which made them balk at the mention of Bin Laden's death (since it should still be like 2009 or so). Not sure whether that mention was the screw up or whether their timeline is nonsense.

        One year is not accurate. I think it's two or two and a half.

                                        Okay, my daughter is allowing me to use her netflix account, so I watched the first two episodes of the first season of Breaking Bad. When does it get better? I won't give up on it, as folks here really like it, so there must be something about the show that makes it worth the watch.

                                        I will say that the first minute or so was great, as it looked like something right out of Malcolm in the Middle - getting chased by cops while driving an old motor home and wearing nothing but tightie whities and a gas mask?

                                            I agree with IPU it took about 4 episodes before I even cared. I am in the middle of season 2 and its starting to get better.
