Those look really nice and will be great for him and his mother to have many years down the road. I wish you lived nearer to the Bay Area. I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. Swampfrog....

Pretty sure you can find 100,000+ better photographers in the Bay Area... I much prefer just shooting sports events or other similar candid moments. I'm getting more comfortable with staged portraits, but they aren't my preference. I'd need to invest in a full frame camera and 2 or 3 lenses to get serious about it. If you're ever in the Portland area, I'd be honored to butcher the attempt at capturing you.

I don't disagree with this.

My wife got mad at me last year when I snapped a picture with my crappy phone and counted it as my son's senior picture. She got over it because it was used once and then forgotten.

I imagine I will do the same with my daughter next year.

Having 3 social media savvy daughters all of whom have aged out of HS (2 of them even graduated!), I'll warn you that if your daughter is on Instagram, you will never get away with this. #seniorsunday

Thanks, I was pleased with how it came out, 4 second exposure with a polarizer to control how much white was captured.

Also go up into the gorge a bit with visiting family. It was overcast with some fog, so more of a more muted, maybe a bit melancholy feel seemed appropriate.
