As cool as the trees and flat mirroring water are, I particularly like the crescents of the birds flying off, bringing a little action into an otherwise still life shot.

Really nice Eldiente!
I may be small, but I'm slow.
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

Yeah, it looks like it is pitching too far forward. 180 degree rotation would make it seem more natural I bet.Originally posted by BigPiney View Postusing a drone?
I like this picture but something about the angles the is driving me crazy."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I think it's just the left side is coniferous and the right side deciduous, the coniferous have obvious wide angle perspective lines (the trunks tend to remain straight), where the deciduous are more difficult as the trunks don't necessarily have obvious lines. the one in the bottom right shows similar angles to the coniferous counterparts. I love drone shots. Just one more item on the photography wishlist, which just got longer with the release of the Canon R + new 50mm 1.2 lens.Originally posted by BigPiney View Postusing a drone?

Like this one a lot, except that central tree, it would be fine if it included more of it I think. I love dramatic skies.Originally posted by tooblue View PostI was out with my son helping him with a project (capturing video footage etc.) for school and came home with some good shots:

It's a meandering creek and the drone isn't moving, just hovering high above (at least that is what the sensor is supposed to ensure it does, but wind at that altitude has a way of distorting what the lens captures when you are shootings stills from that high up. I really like the line movement in the shot.Originally posted by BigPiney View Postusing a drone?

I guess I could've walked down the hill and chopped that tree down ... ultimately, I decided against it. I could digitally remove it, but decided against doing that.Originally posted by swampfrog View PostLike this one a lot, except that central tree, it would be fine if it included more of it I think.
