The one in Lehi is soon to be a Del Taco. Total downgrade, IMO.

1- With 6,778 Burger King restaurants in the United States there is 1 Burger King per 49K residents
2- According to some online data aggregator I found, the state of Utah about fits national average with 2.2 BK per 100K residents.
3- The northernmost Burger King in Utah County is in Orem at the shopping plaza on Center Street.
4- The Utah County resident population north of this area is estimated to be in the 250K range

So going by national and state trends, there should be about 5 Burger King restaurants in the Pleasant Grove/Lindon/Lehi/American Fork/Saratoga Springs/Eagle Mountain/Alpine/Highland metropolitan area. But there are none. Previously there was one in Lehi and one in Saratoga Springs, but they've both shut down. I'm very curious as to why a fast food restaurant with the 5th most units in America can't succeed in what should be a prime location. This is such a mystery!!!!
The one in AF was mismanaged the last few years it was operational. People like me stopped eating there because of that.

                A few samples:

                • Challenging institutional legitimacy: I wonder if we challenge the legitimacy of the Supreme Court how we might transfer power back to the people
                • P*lice abolition: I wonder if we abolished the police, what else could we do to keep the world safe?
                • Eradicating borders: I wonder… if we eradicate borders, how might we build our communities to include and support neighbors from all over the world?
Not sure why they don't like to spell out "police" in the title I also like the "Lil' comrade convos" section. You would think this is a parody site but, sadly, it's not.

                      • I recently upgraded from my 7.25" Kobalt miter saw, so I decided to list it on craigslist and (for the first time ever) Facebook Marketplace for $75, which I think is a pretty fair price.

It's gotten no action from craigslist. Here's the transcript of the conversation with the first interested party on FM:

Potential buyer: Hi [Pelado], is this still available?

                        Pelado: Yes.

Potential buyer: how much is the least ? and I can go get up at 8:30 am

                        Pelado: $75

Potential buyer: Can I make you an offer?

                        Pelado: Of course

                        Potential buyer: 50

                        Pelado: Can't go that low

Potential buyer: I can go pick it up right now.

                        Potential buyer: 60

Pelado: Still a bit too low

Potential buyer: how much do you think?

Pelado: I'd be good with $75

Potential buyer: ok thanks I'm thinking 60 is good for me right now

Potential buyer: I'm eagle an autistic

                        Pelado: Ok

                        Potential buyer: 60 ?

Pelado: No, still at $75. I was just acknowledging your message. Sorry for any confusion.

                        Potential buyer: ok thanks

Potential buyer (several days later and apparently oblivious to having previously contacted me): du You have? kobalt saw?

Pelado: Yes, but I have a full-price buyer planning to come by this evening to pick it up. If that doesn't go through, I'll let you know.

                        Potential buyer: ok please
