Too bad Costco no longer does.

One of the main things we get from Sam's club that we can't get from Costco is "On the Border - Cantina Thins" chips. The tortilla chips at Costco are no bueno.

Yes. Same thing, same price. We get one about once per week.

Yes. Definitely a different vibe at the Provo SC vs the Orem Costco.

You can also just get those at Walmart.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

They are available several places. I've seen them at Macey's as well.

It is just something Costco is lacking.

          • FWIW, I think the Sam's Club rotisserie chickens are better than the Costco ones. Slightly better seasoning blend, I think, and the skin roasts a little better.

We have memberships at both places, but I find myself using Costco for gas mostly on my way to/from work, while Mrs. D hits up Sam's for the shopping because it's 5-7 mins from the house and we are about right smack in the middle between two Costcos (A Costco 20 mins one direction, and one 20 mins the other direction)

Few things as disappointing as showing up to a party stocked with Kirkland brand tortilla chips. #cardboardisforboxes

It is horrible. I can't believe they screwed it up that badly.

I've never had that problem. I wonder if JL might need to increase the font size on his phone. Often that really helps a certain age demographic find better utilize features in their mobile devices.

I have never been inside a SC. I don't get out much. Heck, I had Popeye's for the first time 2 weeks ago.

But to talk about tortilla chips, I was in San Luis Obispo last week and stopped by the Food 4 less for some dr pepper and stumbled upon tortilla chips from Taco Works. I am always up for trying something local. So I bought a box. They are pretty good for mass produced. Next time I'm in SLO I'll pick up some more.

I hereby challenge all of you clowns to a Sam's Club checkout challenge. Winner gets a $1.50 hot dog and drink.

                                True.

We got a Sam's Club membership many years ago. When we were expecting our second (adopted) child, my wife and I priced out certain items at Costco, Sam's Club, and non-membership stores like Walmart and Winco and determined that Sam's Club would be worth it for what we would be purchasing. One of the big selling points for my wife was that the Sam's Club wasn't nearly as busy, allowing for parking much closer to the store's entrance than at the Costco.

Perhaps because of its lack of traffic, that Sam's Club - the only one in the area - closed down. None have come back into the area. Costco now has three local locations, though.
