I would want to know it. It would totally change how I listen to that "live like you were dying" country/western song and "if today was your last day" nickelback song. I'd also build in like a good year of buffer for repentance.
Sounds like you could probably use some of Bo Didley's DIY car mechanic abilities. Hopefully your luck changes at the nickel slots!
Yep. When you break down on Friday and parts can't be had until Monday. Not to mention it's a transmission rebuild.
We're making lemonade though. Agenda includes a visit to the Wendover air field / museum, go drive on the salt flats, maybe some desert hiking, etc. Even found a place that rents ATVs.
"It's true that everything happens for a reason. Just remember that sometimes that reason is that you did something really, really, stupid."
Actually Bend. But we were planning on the southern coast and Crater Lake on our way.
The drive from Bandon to Brookings is one of the prettiest in the Western US. In Langlois, there is a market that claims to have the best hot dog's in the world. I've stopped there a couple of times, and thought they were great, but I'm not so sure about the Best in the World.
Crater Lake is awe inspiring. Nothing like you've ever seen before. Well worth its out-of-the-way trouble.
Last night at the Day's of '47 Rodeo, I was slightly put off by the bewildered creatures milling about, moments from a panic attack as they stamped and pawed their way through the confusing sounds and sour smells of the crowd. And that was just those at the Train free concert afterward.
