driving at night in the fog is a good way to check where your headlights are aimed.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

Damn this snow. A foot on the roads and it's still coming.

Got stuck three times on the way to basketball this morning.

        No plows in sight.

Looks like I'm not leaving the house today.

Back to the grind tomorrow. Work during the holidays seems much less stressed and the four day weekends haven't hurt. But everyone will be wanting to crush it for the new year beginning tomorrow which means that the stress levels will go up. Sometimes the new year is not as much fun as it is made out to be.

How come doctors keep looking younger and younger. I swear my Mom's surgeon doesn't look old enough to have graduated from High School.

For the record he graduated from Med School in 1995.

New semester = new 10-pack of Uniball Gel Impact ink pens. My favorite!

I was really into the Gelly Roll pens on my mission. I would stop by La Libreria at least once a week to see if they had any new colors.

Psychologists claim your first initial has a major affect on your longevity, with people whose names begin with A significantly outliving those beginning with D.

I summon you. This article is ridiculous and needs your particular talents applied to it.

In honor of Lee Majors and the Six Million Dollar Man, we are going to start calling my mother the 6 bit woman. In the last 18 months she has had both shoulders and a knee replaced, cataract surgery on both eyes replacing the lenses and now had her GI tract (SP) redone.

Thank heavens for modern medicine and all of the dedicated medical professionals, Docs, nurses and all of the other support staff.

It is amazing how much dirt and grime a little white dog can pick up in a six mile walk over snow and ice.
