Winter sucks. I long for the days where it was 85 degrees on Christmas day and I would walk out my backyard to the beach and snorkel at the coral reef 200 yards out.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I am slowly freezing at my computer. My mouse hand is numb. If this weather doesn't change soon, I'm going to have to rearrange my office furniture. Sitting next to window is nice 11 months out of the year, but certainly not right now. I guess I'm not as much a wimp as I'd feared. I just checked the thermostat and it was shut off again. Away from the window it was 62 degrees and dropping fast. At my desk I'm sure I'm well into the lower 50s.
I have this stupid thermostat that craps out on a regular basis but usually overnight so that when I come in in the morning the office is like a refrigerator.
