Apparently this has been a problem at Tufts....no sex while your roommate is in the room with you and your partner...I guess unless you want them to join in:

A new policy at Tufts University prohibits students in dorms from having sex while their roommate is in the room, according to the university's 2009-2010 student handbook.

This is a problem on campuses the U.S. over. In my days at MU I heard many complaints about this. Some were less complain-y than others.

What if you're almost done when your roommate comes in....would it be breaking the rules to scream at them "get out" so you could at least.....get dressed?

I was at the DMV yesterday. Immediately behind me in line was a middle-aged asian man and a 40s black woman. They strike up a conversation. It goes like this:

Woman: Where are you from originally?
            Man: My mother! (he chuckles)
W: Oh! Haha, I mean, what city?
            M: Japan. ()
W: Oh! I work with a lot of Philippinos!
M: [inaudible] (presumably he was setting her straight)
W: Oh. But the Philippines is by Hawaii, right? Which is near Japan?
M: No. Hawaii is 6,000 miles from San Francisco. Japan is another 6,000 miles from Hawaii. The Philippines is in the south, another 4,000 miles from Japan.
            W: Is it by Tahiti?
            M: No... well, no.
W: I thought Tahiti was an island down there.
M: Well, they it is part of, how you say, Polynesia. Hawaii, Tahitit, Samoa. Those are all Polynesian islands. Indonesia too. ()
W: Oh! Polynasian? Oh, that makes sense! So they asian, too, oh I see. That make sense, because of the eyes, and the hair and the skin. ()
            M: Yeah.
W: Like in Rio de Janeiro (:igiveup

Then they started talking about how poor the people in Rio are and how there are some pretty places there, but also some nasty places.

I remember when pulling an all-nighter held so much intrigue and excitement. It probably meant untold amounts of soda, junk food, movies, and video games, and you didn't have to do chores Saturday afternoon because you were asleep.

Now, staying up 24+ hours is just sad and depressing, majorily because I do it by myself.
