Had no idea that the Berlin Wall was built in the 60's. I thought it was closer to WWII.
Way off on the Copenhagen street, 10 years and 960 km (thought Switzerland)
Third guess was the worst. Cairo and 8 years off.
Last 2 guesses saved me from a terrible game. Took awhile to find the date on a magazine. Guess the right year for the Australian pic but guessed Sydney. I almost picked Brisbane

    • 35,526 Not sure why I do so poorly on the weekend. Most of my blunders where years but got roped in and whiffed on the last location.

1.9 km -- I brain farted the year here. I went with the 50's when I should have known better.

1.3 km -- This is the only one I feel pretty good about. Saw all the French on the magazines. Saw a P and part on an A on a national geographic map, so I figured it was Paris even though that was probably a default guess anyways. Saw the magazine that referenced "Millennial", so I knew it was at least in the 2010's. Guessed too early though.

16685.9 km -- Going with the obvious clue finally didn't work out for me (although it was still pretty obvious). I didn't consider Australia here and went with Cardiff. The Bank sign and the immigration sign should have been big clues that I didn't pick up on.

            • 39,762, I nailed the Guggenheim and did surprisingly well with Mandela. Otherwise, so-so, including guessing the wrong Olympics in Innsbruck and being way off on the Ukraine thing.

              • I was doing ok. Not great, not terrible (would have been better if I had remembered that Innsbruck had TWO olympics), and then I concluded with a career-low 12 point guess on the last one. 21 Years and 10K km away. A truly awful performance. Ended with 32,370.

Got Croatia and Ukraine within a reasonable time frame. One year off South Africa but man that's a big country. Could not for the life of me figure out where Innsbruck was, but searching around Central Europe I found a -bruck in Germany so I pinned it there. Fellas, the year was on her sweater. So lucked out there. Completely bombed the last one. Guessed Copenhagen and was 12 years off.

283.9 km -- I originally thought this was about 1980, then I saw the sign Split Yugoslavia, so I picked a later date thinking it might be the lead up to the war in the 90s. Then I found Split on the map and picked it but didn't roll back the date. So, I was off on both date and place.

961.4 km -- I had no clue about this and had no idea there was a Gugenheim museum in northern Spain. I looked all over for this and much of my investigation was Northern Spain. I couldn't make out any writing except for MERSK (no help) and the flag could have been Spain's. I hedged on this though and went with Northern Italy, a nice central place for Europe. I figured it was late 90's because of all the cranes I saw and associated it with the construction boom of the time. The cars seems 90's Europe as well.

Got Rome, guessed 6 years later.
Only a year off but picked Orleans as well. Didn't see Paris on the sign, but was thinking Paris until I saw Orleans.
Only a year off. The unique architecture gave it away even that early in the construction.
Took a stab based on the Sigma and was rewarded. 4 years off.
Brighton Pier was the give away on locale. 4 years later than picture.

Got the location, but missed by 4 years.
Also used the sigma (and the fact that the two men both looked Greek). Was off by 4 years.
