They have burned an AI model into silicon. Ask it a question or give it a prompt and the response is instantaneous. The thinking is, as the models get more mature and stable, we can start putting them on chips and use less data center resources and be way more efficient.

I have been swearing at Claude occasionally. I hope I didn't hurt its feelings.

By the way, I ran into a really intricate coding problem that was kicking Claude's butt so I fired up Codex and gave it a shot. It took 3-4 hrs to fully diagnose and solve the problem but it eventually did. Very impressed. I will definitely use both going forward.

I have a colleague that routinely fires up both Claude and Codex and gives them the same problem to see which one finds the best solution. I need to start doing that.

I have used Google AI Studio, but not the Gemini CLI. I should try that too.

Gemma 4 seems pretty awesome. Might be a good option for the more mundane tasks to save your Claude credits.

This is wild.

I spoke to Anthropic execs about the new model, which they called a "reckoning" for cybersecurity. They claim it has already found vulnerabilities in every major operating system and web browser, including some that "literally decades of security researchers" didn't find.

They are working with cybersecurity companies to give everyone a heads up before releasing.

I swear Google Notebook LM has gotten dumber. I am trying to do some things that used to handle beautifully and the responses are terrible.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Claude has been off lately? Some days it is dumb and some days it is a genius. I see others commenting on the same thing.

One suggestion for Google NotebookLM is to append the Notebook project to a Gemini chat and make the same request with Thinking or Pro.
