No. Copying video games is almost impossible, unless you have modified your xbox or ps3 to be able to play burned discs. Copy protection works much, much better in the video game arena than it does in the movie one.

I'm not sure what combinations you're looking at, but if you were to buy all of the DVDFAB products, it would cost you about $350 for a lifetime license.

Thus, why so many have decided to go the torrent route.

I would never have guessed the Vandelay's to be WWE people. Eastern Washington I guess.

My 10YO loves it. He mainly watches stuff on youtube and the website since the actual program is verboten as per Mrs V. I tolerate it, but the video game was incredibly annoying. I'm not sorry to see it go.

I bought a copy 2-3 years ago for $50 (copy plus ripper). I decided that I was wasting too much time messing with the free apps. It has been a good investment. That combo goes for $100 today, but they seem to have sales occasionally.

If you use DVDFab for iPad ripping, be sure to use two-pass encoding and double the bit rate. The default settings give you a small file but the picture is lousy.

I use DVDFAB mostly for ripping DVDs to my hard drive and then streaming them to my xbox and ps3. The process is pretty time consuming already. How long does it take to do two-pass encoding? And what does doubling the bit rate do for the size of the file? Double it?

It takes longer, but I am not sure how much. I usually just let it run while I am working.

Yeah, it doubles the file size. I can't stand to see the pixelation when there is some semi-rapid motion on the screen. Well worth it, IMO.

That's nice to know. I've got plenty of space (right now), so I think I'll give that a try.

Can you notice a difference when viewing movies on your iPad?

Can you point me to a Filipino knock-off version for a few less dollars?
No dice. If I get caught with pirated software or dvd/games I can lose my job. My company replicates about 75% of the discs in circulation. They don't look kindly on that kind of thing.

Copying video games is actually incredibly easy. You just need to know how to install a mod chip into your device. This is also surprisingly easy.

It's too bad I can't have those games anymore because before I worked for the new company I had purchased about 150 X-Box games for about $2 here in Manila. Half of them worked and half didn't but it was still a pretty sweet deal.

                              Seriously?

I don't work for your company. I could go for that deal.

Why do some work and some not?

I've been using VPN Express. Works very well.
