i already downloaded it. the new economy in action: instant gratification.

Do you use a separate weather app? I notice this has local functionality. Can you search for weather anywhere?

WunderMap is the best of the free ones. And while I haven't tried the cost ones, I would say it is as good as any of those.

it has your radar, satellite and animated overlays. It just doesn't show you the temp for your city either but surrounding area. It is pretty awesome.

No, mine is the first Toy Story. It is called Toy Story Read-Along. It is free.

I can't find a free Toy Story 3 app. What is it called?

I see....the Toy Story read-along is an iPad app, not an iPhone app. The iPad can run both, but not sure if the iPhone can run both. If not, you should go buy the ipad. Might cost a few hundred dollars more, but you get the Toy Story Read-Along app for free.

OK, so a few more that I have been using:

SparkPeople: calorie counter/weight tracker app. Decent enough and it was free, I think.

We Doodle: this is very fun, addicting, and perfect for boring meetings or conference calls. It is basically a pictionary game. You get matched up in a lobby with 3 other players. Each player takes a turn drawing an assigned word as a timer counts down. You have to type quickly to out-guess the others. You win points by guessing correctly and by drawing a word successfully. You amass points to unlock achievements and purchase virtual items in the "store" (things that add to your drawing tablet, colors, stencils, etc...). You need wi-fi or 3G connectivity for this one, but very fun. My new fave.

Ted: really cool idea, so-so execution. Free app. Collection of speeches and talks by world leaders, political and economic figures, entertainment heads, celebs, etc from past and present. Updated daily. Website is better, but the app is awesome. The only problem is that often it crashes or runs slowly. But definitely worth checking out. Some amazing talks/speeches in there.

Ted sounds awesome. I guess that should be expected.

I feel the same way about TED. They have some work to do and it will be good.

Yahoo! Sportacular: I love the iPhone app and I am still trying to customize the iPad version but once I have it figured out, I think this is a winner.

Dr. Seuss The Sneetches - Pretty sweet. It is missing some of the Toy Story extras but I like how you can touch the screen and it will tell you what you touched and the word appears. My kids love it.

Little Sky Writers - Teaches the kids how to write the alphabet and the guy will say something like "E says eeh as in Egg or Eeeeegggggg. Both words actually are the same word. I just made one sound a little different" His voice is crazy and it makes us laugh.

Someone on here mentioned they play words with friends. I'm getting sick of destroying teenage girls and getting beat by my dad. If anyone wants to play, boardmail me your username! It'll be fun!

I play but I dont feel comfortable playing with you. You didn't tell us about your prior Fist Roll technique and today you voted against BYU in an upcoming game.

I'll say it again. My favorite app is LDS Gospel Library. You literally carry the an entire library around with you. They just added all the April and October Conference video and all other conference talks back to 1990. Just pick the talk you want to hear and click. It's a great tool for studying for a lesson or doing some basic research or just reading your scriptures when you've got some time in a line or something.

Its a reflex and hand speed app. Very fun free version, that also has a premium version that I haven't yet purchased. I busted some kids playing it during a SS lesson at church a couple of weeks ago and now I know why they were playing it during my riveting lesson. Its very addicting.
