The way he was writhing on the ground, I'd be surprised if he's back soon. I had what the doctor called a grade IV which required surgery, and when it happened, I could immediately tell something was wrong, but I could calmly walk off the mat. Bradford was in a lot of pain.

I had a grade 2 - no surgery, just ice, rest and physical therapy - but in the first 5 minutes it really, really hurt.

To this date, Utah has still never beaten a #1 ranked team. Or a #3 ranked team. At least I don't think it has. BYU just did that this weekend. Again. This win will always be remembered, regardless of what time of year it was played.

It's fun to see you and SU go at it, but unless I am mistaken this is the first time BYU has beaten an OOC ranked team since 1998. They've just begun the road back to national competitiveness. Congratulations!

I think that is a function of scheduling. If you schedule crappy OOC games, the chances of playing a team ranked that high diminish significantly. Louisville will be a good game, though, I am sure.

Nope. Texas is almost a guaranteed loss. Then we've got Tech in Lubbock, OkSU in Stillwater, Nebraska in Lincoln. There's at least one loss in there. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose at Miami.

As far as the quarterback goes, it might be better that Bradford not come back. We've been through this with Jason White. What they do is put the guy back in as soon as the doctor clears him to play, rather than when he's actually healthy and accurate again. I don't see that being the case for Bradford anytime soon.

I don't get the logic of: "SU says BYU beat a magazine ranked no. 3 team, ergo BYU's 1984 season was bigger than Utah's 2008-09 season." The only ranked team BYU beat in 1984 was a preseason top 5 team that wound up with a losing record.

Utah beat a no. 1 ranked team last year. Alabama was ranked no. 1 for what, 7 seeks, until after the SEC championship game. That's more substantial than magazine no. 3, with nary a game played yet.
