He threw a much better ball than Brian Johnson did. I won't even compare the two as runners. I am not saying he was great passer but his athleticism would have made him a very good qb in their current system.

He had his bell rung pretty good.

He didn't win every game he played in.

i agree. Arceneaux was a wasted talent at Utah. He was a mismatch for the type of offense that McBride wanted to run.

He was 11-2 as a starter with inferior coaching and talent around him than Cain will have this year. If you wouldn't be thrilled with those results, you can't be reasoned with.

Wow, 11-2 as a starter, but in three injury-plagued years.

Which back to the point, if Cain is as good as Arceneaux was, we will be far from doomed.

Utah is wickedly deep at WR this year.

Arceneaux had at least a few good receivers to throw to like Kevin Dyson and Daniel Jones. He could also hand the ball off to Fuimatu-Maafala, Mike Anderson, Dameon Hunter and Adam Tate. Utah wasn't hurting that bad for talent.

                        Cain was a JC all-American wasn't he?

Yes he was. But the gap between JC and Div. I is huge, so I don't think it really means much.

Il Padrino has a desperate need to be liked by BYU fans. I see his sycophantism is rearing its ugly head again, right on time.
