Of course, the media doesn't like not knowing. So, naturally, it is going on and on and on about how disappointing the Utah QBs are. The more it goes on about how bad things must be, the better I actually feel.

    Kyle's doing it right.
The media is not talking about how bad the QB situation because they dont know who the starter is. The media talking about how bad the qb situation is because it is bad. Even Ute honk and former player Kyle Gunther has been expressing his worry after watching the QBs in practice this fall. Kevin Graham has gone to just about every Ute practice and he has been very unimpressed. It sounds like Cain is the answer so they can rely more heavily on the option and run game.

He has been very open about this. He has also been the one that has said that Cain is getting 80% of the reps. He gets into the entire practice because of his connections to the program instead of just 30 minutes like the rest of the media.

You mean, in the few minutes of practice they've been allowed to see.

I doubt either QB is as good as Hall, but I also doubt they're as bad as Croshaw and Arcenaeux.

whoops you obviously missed HLs post about Gunther being allowed to watch all of practice, please go back and try again.

If Cain is as good as Arceneaux, ute fans should be happy. But then, I always thought Arceneaux, when healthy, was pretty good.

(edit) Just looked it up - he was 11-2 as a starter with inferior coaching and talent around him than Cain will have this year. If Cain = Arceneaux, ute fans should be thrilled.

Thanks for your responses. I see opinions here that Cain will start are just rank speculation. My money remains on Wynn.

Arceneaux was great for a freshman, but he never improved or developed beyond that. He was also never the same after that hit in the Wyo game his junior season.

if that is the case Utah will be in good shape. When healthy Arceneaux was very good. He was just playing in the wrong type of offense for him. He would do well in the spread system the run now. Really well....

                            No, that's not the problem.

Great runner. Great passer, I'm not so sure?

Never the same because he was hurt, but see my post above - when he played, he won games.
