I was expecting someone named Whittingham. I was close!

He looks like the real deal. Utes pouring it on!

It would be nice of Benji K to finally recognize his mistake and come where he belongs.

That would be a nice addition. He has family ties. He was a highly recruited 4* center out of H.S.

I also hear from a few sources that there *may* be another "legacy" that could join the Utes in the near future, but not today.

Utes sure did well with the academic casualties today.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

You must feel like an ass after posting that Utah was cratering this year.

Unufe, Avery Williams, Kemoeatu the Utes seem to be able to get anyone in to school.

Reminds me of Vili Nau who was planning on attending Oregon State but did not have the grades to get in. All of the sudden he ends up getting in to Utah, even Mike Riley called the Utes out for that one.

Are you prepared to say that BYU never makes academic exceptions for athletes?

I forgot to add Sefa Tanoa'i whom BYU did not offer because he had no shot at getting in. Yet he signed with the Utes.

OK, now this is fun. You are now claiming that Utah did better than BYU in this year's class because they have lower academic standards?

By the way, you ignored my question:

Are you prepared to say that BYU never makes academic exceptions for athletes?

                                This quote says it all:

“I’ve been working hard to get my grades up to par,” said Tanoa’i. “I’m just waiting for BYU to offer me an official scholarship. They just want to see some consistency in my grades and then they said they would offer me. Once they do I’m going there.”
Looks like they offer never came so he had to settle for going to Utah. Weird that Rivals blows their credibility again by listing a BYU offer even though the kid has been quoted as saying he does not have one.
