Tons of BYU fans everywhere we go down here. Old town SD was jam packed last night with dozens and dozens of cougar fans. At Coronado beach this morning and cougars are everywhere.

There are a fair number of Wyoming fans as well. More than I expected. Helped one older lady in cowboy gear up that fell while walking by the hotel Coronado this morning.

Let me be clear.

1. My annoyance with (not fury) Matich is in the way he talks down to us relative to the way he'd talk about any other P5 team. Rarely does someone say a P5 team would have a phenomenal season with seven wins or that if you said they'd have 8 wins you'd tell them to have their head examined.
2. I'm fine with our season. My annoyance with Matichs hyperbole is unrelated to my feelings about the season or the job the coaches did.

PS by definition with about 60 P5 schools. Top 30 is an average P5 schedule.
