Got back from Vegas today. I have not read this thread. I assume people are bitching about this or that. All I know is that I had to sit in the Ute section during that first quarter. That was probably the least fun I have had doing anything in my life. Utes were assholes and I literally said nothing the entire time. One guy ran down the stairs, found me in my BYU sweatshirt, grabbed my by the shoulders and screamed in my face. I almost punched him but I hate that sort of confrontation and I was there with my wife and kids. My wife's family are Utes and they were very embarrassed. It was funny. I was a good sport though. I smiled and said it wasnt over, even when it sure felt over. I enjoyed the comeback and it was unfortunate that we didn't finish it off. I have sat in Ute sections many many times and it was never this bad. Lol at people who say the rivalry is dead.Dyslexics are teople poo...

Had you not worn a BYU sweatshirt in the Utah section you would have been left alone. That was a stupid thing to do.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostGot back from Vegas today. The Rivalry is not over but Ute fans hate it and want it over almost to a person. But BYU fans want it to keep going and that's the only reason it retains any life. The psychology of this is fascinating. For Utes this bowl game was just a joyless chore, which I think figured into the way they played after going up 35-0. I promise that if you polled Ute fans they would overwhelmingly choose no more BYU games, just like the coaches and administrators prefer. And obviously it's not because we're scared. So leave us alone, quit stalking us, and the Rivalry will be extinguished.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostJesse Palmer was talking about the rivalry at the start of the game and you could tell he was surprised at how intense it is.When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

You're in luck Ute fans have been polled.
https://www.ksl.com/?sid=33171715&nid=294The poll, which was made up of sports fans around the state of Utah, asked a variety of questions on sports topics Utahns care about. Among the questions was whether Brigham Young University and the University of Utah should continue to play against each other in football. According to the 402 respondents, 55 percent said the teams should “definitely” play, while 32 percent said they should “probably” play.

Also, his posturing as the Aaron to all thousands of little UofU Moseses. Given his revealed preferences (e.g., his 17,000 posts here) it is hard for me to imagine he is really in a position to be the spokesman of the near countless little Moseses.Originally posted by creekster View PostThe irony of this comment coming from you after your more than SEVENTEEN THOUSAND POSTS on this board is rich beyond belief.
