On occasion there are things we rally around as rivals.
I remember that happening with Hayes Tate (despite BYU fans really disliking Steve Tate over the years) and Elsie Mahe being one of those.
Alex Smith has clearly had a rough couple of years. Nearly died from his leg injury. Fought his way back to the NFL. Now this with his daughter:
