Last week I swung by the Dollar General to pick up some tube socks.
I saw the ward chorister in the check out line, 3 spots ahead of me
The ward chorister had on a green turtleneck
The green turtleneck reminded me of my Uncle Jimmy's ski boat (he always had some green apple Jolly Ranchers in the glove box)
Uncle Jimmy worked at "The Record Bar" in Cottonwood Mall.
Uncle Jimmy would slip me cassette tapes of Anne Murray, Dev-o, Juice Newton, and Spooky Tooth.
He got caught, and was fired.
After a few weeks he got a job as a gardener at the American Express call facility.
The caviar place on line takes American Express, so I bought 3 ounces.I intend to live forever.
So far, so good.
