See above response.Originally posted by byu71 View PostWhere are all the ladies? I thought on these kind of trips you were always surrounded with massive quantities of ladies?
The truth is we left most of them on another houseboat because they had no desire to watch the game. There were a few down in the galley making food.

It was a weird trip. The organizer brought two professional photographers to document it. I didn't pull out either my SLR or my GoPro once. Dumb move because there were some beautiful women. As usual they make sure to thank their boat drivers.Originally posted by byu71 View PostGood, I need the details since I live through you when it comes to women.

Yeah I don't get it. The photographers get to go and play on the trip but must document what goes on.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostNow, that's funny.
These trips have become a for-profit business. The organizer makes a lot of money. I have no problem with this as long as they keep the numbers of people at manageable levels. Inviting photographers is part of the marketing for the next trip.
There currently are two people planning these trips. The guy with this houseboat is taking it to another level. He's actually buying these luxury houseboats and creating ownership groups so he can do events on the boats. It's become a business.

The flaw is that a few of us boat drivers are going to become more demanding. They let us come on the trip for free and pay for the gas. However, that doesn't compensate for the fuel to drive to and from the lake as well as wear and tear to the boat and tow vehicle. I sometimes think I'd be money ahead if I just paid for the trip like a regular person and left the boat at home.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostOK, that makes more sense.

Nah. I didn't do any research, but we were definitely on South Street. I don't remember the name.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postim guessing that after weeks of intensive research for the most authentic steaks, you stumbled across two lesser-known places called Pats and Genos. lets keep it a secret though!
