Yeah looks like only one of the three potential freshmen materialized as a starter. Though it seems with the number of "or" listed in there those guys are just going to be rotating a lot and could be displaced at any minute.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostGlad to see Kearsley starting. So Russell...what do you love about music? Diaco setting low expectations for his first game...rightfully so!
BYU may be in trouble. Looks like UConn did some unprecedented strength/conditioning training in fall camp, as well as a focus on nutrition. Per what UConn insiders are saying, the players have never looked better or worked harder! So what level are the Huskies on?
"You can't wave a magic wand and turn the team into something before it's ready to," Diaco said. "Things take time."
To a player, each of their bodies has changed for their better. Diaco called him the best strength and conditioning coach in America. Other coaches outside of UConn have, too. It's easy to see why when looking at the players.
"I think they've all bought in; that's the biggest thing," said Balis, who came to UConn from Mississippi State, where he served as head strength coach for five years. "They've worked hard, eaten correctly. We have a great nutritionist [Dr. Nancy Rodriguez], so that plan has been there. If you just work hard but you don't eat right you don't get those results. So we've had both.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Where is that paper from? That looks like it could be UConn's rundown, in which case they wouldn't know anything about who's actually starting.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Adam Hine is ready, also appears to be working out with KatyLied

"I look at it as any other opportunity," Hine said. "There's been a lot of competition but this next week at Connecticut will be a little different without Jamaal (Williams). It's going to give me a chance to really step up from where I've been. I'm really excited for it.""Those guys are really good," BYU junior quarterback Taysom Hill said. "Jamaal is going to help us when he gets back but it's no problem at all."
Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

The elders came over for dinner last night and one of them had played football with Taysom at Highland. They wanted to show me a Mormon Messages video, but I ended up showing them Taysom highlights from last season instead. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
