Since I'll be gone for most of the home games during which we'd normally tailgate, we're going to set-up a tailgate somewhere for this away game, and kick the season off right.

here is some video of it.Originally posted by YOhio View PostUconns qb has a mullet. It was on deadspin the other day.
He is a redshirt sophomore
Cochran played in eight games 2013, starting the final four and posting a 3-1 record. He finished the year 111-for-175 in the air with 1,293 yards and 11 touchdowns against four interceptions, adding a rushing touchdown as well. He set the UConn single-game record for passing yards with 461 against Memphis (Dec. 7). Cochran was 36-of-54 with four touchdowns in that game, finishing with the second-most completions and third-most attempts in a game in UConn history.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Hopefully he doesn't do to us what Van Pelt did back in the day. Mullets can be dangerous.Originally posted by YOhio View PostUconns qb has a mullet. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Comparable to how Texas fans currently feel about a Mormon named Taysom.Originally posted by Moliere View PostHopefully he doesn't do to us what Van Pelt did back in the day. Until recently, UConn played its home games at Memorial Stadium, which sat 16,200!
this is a picture of i guess one half of the stadium before it was demolished:
Since 2003, UConn has played in Rentschler Field, aka "The Rent," which seats around 40,000 (
)

According to wikipedia, record attendance was 42K for a game against Michigan. Additionally, Bruce Springsteen and The Police have played there. Recently, a hockey game was held at The Rent and apparently 15K showed up. Also, for all you cinephiles out there, the Bollywood movie Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna used the field as the location of the soccer game in the opening scene of the movie.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

That thread is amazing. Especially the technical difficulties, an appeal to a moderator and the moderator fixing the issue, followed by about 10 consecutive "lookalike" posts where the guy is back to only one photo allowed.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Post"I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! At what point do we lose future games because the opposing fans don't want to deal with these idiots.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostUte fan poses as BYU fan on UConn message board:

http://the-boneyard.com/threads/byu-...gangers.63481/One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
