Was it Utah's best season in the PAC12 thus far?Originally posted by Mormon Red Death View Post??? Utah had an injury plagued season as well. Utah lost its top wide receiver, its top safety, its top CB missed several games. Its top 3 linebackers missed several games. Also lost its starting qb.I'm like LeBron James.

I have been saying this for weeks. When Utah upset UCLA, a Ute friend of mine who has texted me about football a total of 3 times (all three immediately post Holy-War) in the last 4 years (hmm, why is that timing significant) suddenly began chirping at me again. After the loss against ASU, he disappeared, only to reemerge after the Stanford win. Here is my text exchange with him, verbatim, after the Stanford-Utah game:Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostUtah's best season in the PAC12, a very disappointing, injury plagued season for BYU, and they both go to meaningless bowl games.
No response. I kept thinking maybe he would text me after the loss vs. AZ this weekend, but nope.Him: Quittingham!
Me: Lol. Enjoy that offense. Actually, I'm sure you'll have a new O Coordinator by next season.
Him: Enjoy playing UNLV in mid-November with a fork already in your season.
Me: Meaningless games are meaningless games. Keep pretending that win over an awful Farm team meant something. Enjoy the Vegas bowl.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

I agree, there is room for improvement; my text burn would have been better if I had gone with the Sun Bowl.Originally posted by Applejack View PostMan, you really outtexted him there. No wonder he didn't respond.

During the Stanford game? You are correct that the Utes really manhandled them, but I still thought Stanford had a chance at halftime.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Posthey you never reported back on your fish fry. since the game was over by halftime, i assume you had plenty of time to prepare something delish.
The fish was delish, btw!Last edited by Applejack; 11-24-2014, 01:00 PM.

First of all, THE SUN BOWL was pretty sweet last time; I'd take that over Vegas.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostI agree, there is room for improvement; my text burn would have been better if I had gone with the Sun Bowl.
Second of all, playing in El Paso instead of Las Vegas means fewer BYU fans showing up wearing their royal blue Cougar gear. That behavior drives me crazy!!!!!
