in fairness, I attended the previous USC v Utah game at Rice Ecc and Utah lost that one.Originally posted by Applejack View PostThings are looking up!
DDD, will you be there? With a CougJunkie prediction of destruction and a DDD visit to Rice Ecc, I'd be feeling a lot better about the game than I was 10 minutes ago.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I will be at neither of those games. In the spirit of transparency, I'm actually going to a surprise birthday party for my mother-in-law. She rarely reads CS, so I don't mind mentioning the party here.Originally posted by Applejack View PostEither game featuring teams from Utah and Oregon: (a) The Oregon Ducks football team vs. the Utah Utes football team, or (b) the Pacific (Ore) mens basketball team vs. the Utah Utes mens basketball team.Fitter. It's kinda cute that people are discussing the possibility of Utah beating Oregon. I'll give HFN a pass because as an Oregon fan, he has to be humble about the whole thing,
but Applejack, c'mon man! seriously, knock it off.I'm like LeBron James.

I've attended 5 non-BYU-Utah games at RES in the past 15 years and the Utes are 0-5 in those games. What can I say, I have Ute friends that like having a BYU fan sitting next to them when they lose.
Previous to that time the Utes seldom won at home and few people went so it doesn't really matter."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

2Lane coach punishes players for fighting in practice: makes them walk around for 20 mins holding hands

Tulane head coach Curtis Johnson came up with a surefire way of getting two scuffling players to get along during practice. After Green Wave players Sean Donnelly and Tanzel Smart got into an altercation during Wednesday's practice, Curtis didn't make them run laps or do a bunch of push-ups.
He made them hold hands and walk around the field. For 20 minutes.
Just take a look at this darling image:

By the second quarter the guys aren't even able to make it to the ground and they are still allowed to jog out onto the field. Dumb and ineffective.Originally posted by old_gregg View Postis that why our guys hold hands when they come off the sidelines? because if not it's almost as dumb as starting a series from a three point stance off the sidelines."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault
