I was surprised at the fans that started up a "Boise State" cheer when Sorenson was out cold on the field. I was surprised when later in the game another group of BSU fans started a "Stand Up" chant while Hague was out cold on the field. Low rent fans overall.

Encounters over the weekend. Like a friend of mine observed, "They are just Ute fans wearing orange."

Given the records between the two schools, isn't it more appropriate to say of uofutah fans, "They are just Boise fans wearing red?"

I'm wondering if other teams refuse to believe that Taysom needs a spy, so he racks up yardage until they finally get a spy in there. That slows him and the offense down.

After Texas in the second game of the season, I don't know how any coach would justify NOT spying Taysom full time.

We had several behind us cheering when a BSU player was down on the field hurt. BYU fans get an attitude they are above bad behavior and better than other fans but believe me you've got a bunch of real pricks in the bunch. Also BYU fans may be the most whiney group of fans I've ever been around. At the Utah game I thought I may have just been around a very vocal whiney group but at the game Friday it was no different. The persecution complex many Mormons have continues right into BYU football games, every spot, every call is a bad call, it is bad.

You're right. There were Boise State fans that also were trying to start a cheer when their own player was down. I would have chalked it up to a lack of situational awareness, but the stadium was dead quiet. I guess they just thought it was a good time.

It is quite a bit of fun to watch both the offense and the defense. Hill has made some great strides. As well as we are doing on offense, the OL must have made some solid strides also.

I wish I had confidence Utah was going to make it to the fight Hunger bowl. I would want to go to that one.

I had some BSU fan text me during the game to ask if I was there. I had no idea who it was but it was a 208 number and they said they would be wearing orange and to look for them on TV. It must have been some relatives of mine.
