    I was a little surprised but saw it as a silly gimmick rather than a real attempt at BSU smack. I haven't seen the video posted but it was a video of a folder sitting on an official looking desk. The folder is opened and you see an application for Statehood from Guam. A hand comes in and stamps the form with a large "PENDING". The next page in the folder is an application from Puerto Rico, and again it is stamped "PENDING". The third page is an application from Boise. The hand with the stamp comes down and marks it "DENIED". The folder is then closed and you see a paper that was underneath the folder that says "BOISE IS NOT A STATE". Then cut to the standard Studio C logo/trailer music.

    Studio C does an ad for each game. I think this is the first one they've done directed toward a specific opponent. I thought it would have been not really funny at all outside of the circumstances, but reasonably funny as a surprise in the middle of the game. Pretty harmless.

      I was hoping to find the video and show them that they're in a huff over nothing.

          I remember seeing it during the game was really embarrassed and ashamed. I apologized profusely to all the Boise State fans around me and emphasized that the video in no way represented true BYU fans.

            DDD is the only A+ fan on this site.

                    No, not at all. Not sucking up to the Bronco fans make one A+ in my book. That is why Art Vandelay is a D- fan this week.

                      One of the few things I have gotten a good laugh out of that is shown at LES.

                      I found "F the mormons" to be far more offensive coming from their fan base.

                        It's always a bit off-putting from any fanbase- let alone from full synchronized chant from the whole student section (*Tucson in 06). I honestly wouldn't believe that stuff like this happened if I didn't experience it myself.

                          At the Virginia game they had a video of the Cavalier beating up Cosmo. I was highly offended and wrote a letter to the University President. In his response he really snapped;

                            After the commercial the two rednecks behind us just kept yelling "Boise is not a state". It was like a very dim light bulb went off in their head. I really wanted to explain to them that it is a state university located in Boise much like Portland State, San Diego State, San Jose State and I really wanted to confuse them with Dixie State.
