Interesting. In my opinion both Joseph and Brigham were competitive enough that they would have found a way around the HC for athletes at BYU. I don't think either one of them were "image" conscious and would have privately supported the pelting of the refs with garbage.

I for one am making sure that my children are properly apprised of every wrong that we have ever suffered as a people and that they wreak vengeance when it is least expected. If Joseph had made the trek west and we were JSU instead of BYU, we would excel at the stick pull.

Joseph would've been very forgiving. I'm not sure the honor code would've been a huge issue.

Brigham would've either barred the referees from entering the state in the first place, had them massacred by people dressed as Indians and blamed it on the Utes, or simply put his own refs in the game in the first place. I'm not sure he would've supported throwing things, but he may have supported public humiliation and a whipping.

I had an interest until I saw it was a 20 pt spread. Let's see, Friday night playing a team we are favored by 20 pts over. Leave bountiful around 5 and get home around 1. If I want to use my VIP parking pass, I need to leave at 4 so I can get to the game in time to park in that parking lot before everyone else plus a 1,000 extra passes sold get there.

Nope not real interested in the game until game time. Luckily one of my boys said he has two friends that will go to the game with him. I will write off the $300 as entertaining potential clients.
