This morning's SF Chronicle had an story about Stanford's expected class (can't find the online version), and mentioned Leiataua as a commit. But it went on to state, "One Stanford commit who might back out is defensive end Uriah Leiataua, who committed to the Cardinal in mid-January. He is having second thoughts after an official visit to BYU over the weekend, he told the Cardinal Sports Report. 'I'm confused about (my decision) right now,' he said." I'm very pleased he found himself delivered from the enemy which held him bound.

I understand why one would choose Stanford over BYU. But those who don't know why a person might, on occasion, choose BYU over Stanford or any other school have missed out on some really great experiences. I'm hopeful Uriah is in for some of those.

Stanford is an evil place with people who absolutely hate BYU and what BYU stands for. I remember clearly the infamous band incident that happens when Crowton took a team there. Actually I remember there was an incident, not the specifics. they were instrumental in keeping the Cougars out of the PAC12.

They are an intellectual/elitist/tittytwisting/progressive hot spot. Of course the spirit told him to choose BYU.

Law sent 3 LOIs today. It looks like he won't qualify and East Mississippi CC will beat out both Utah and Ole Miss.

You do realize that the NCAA standards at Ole Miss and Utah are exactly the same as every other FBS school in American right?

Thank God Dennis Erickson stayed at Utah. Pretty much the only value added in this class was what Erickson did in Florida and Louisiana.

I think it is about a 50/50 shot that this is Whittingham's last class at Utah.

Look the only reason you got Leiataua is the religion angle, so you have to take the bad with the good.
